Mission Statement
To prepare Human Resources for Primary and Secondary Health Facilites through Accredited Training programs, supported by Research, Consultancies and Services that Respond to Community Needs, Developing and Utilizing the Capabilities of its Academic Staff and Working in Collaboration with National and International Partners to Improve Community Health Outcomes.
The College
Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi, (formerly Kaduna State School of Health Technology Kaduna) is a Monotechnic. Some of its Courses are accredited by National Board for Technical Education, and therefore admission is through JAMB, the College also runs Professional Courses accredeted by relevant Regulatory Boards and Councils
The College has appreciable Human Resources, Material Resources and conducive atmosphere for learning and research. The College operates a Collegial System.
